Thanks to Wolfgang and Ken Thompson for the instructions. I'll go away and
fiddle with that machine for a bit as instructed, but if it gets too heavy, I'll
wait. I have a beta of 8.0 on the way by cd, and I can start making serious
efforts when I install that. Long downloads are a bit of a pain with my isp, as
I have free access, but they cut you off every 2 hours, or 10 minutes idle.  I
have discovered ncftp. which nicely resumes a broken download, but there is
also my kids to contend with... they are big into mp3s.
