Has Anyone had any luck getting an 8200 series HP cdrw working in linux??

I would love to be able to plug it in at backup time...

Also, is there a linux prog that allows backup to multiple cdr's???

Thank you very much. I wasn't even thinking about my usb zip drive, but
followed your directions and it was working in no time.

took me a minute to figure out that it is sda4 on my machine also. I guess
this is the standard dev?

Just out of curiousity, how do you format a zip with ext2? Diskdrake
defaults to vfat.
