Thank you for the page, but i already saw it :-)

Anyway, the problem is not about a parameter for grub and/or lilo. The
system freeze during the _installation_ boot over the CD. If i put the hd
in udma 0 mode (in the bios), the installation goes as long as the
repartitionning. But it also freeze during the format. 

I must add that when i put the hd on the more classic udma 33 port, all
works well. But it is not a very satisfactory solution, isn't it ? And htp
366 is supposed to work flawlessly on linux, at least with mdk 7.2.
