So the latest kdebase is broken too.
I installed the precompiled rpm fine but no kde apps will run.
Not konsole, not kpackage, not kedit, nothing.
I decided to give it a go at compiling the src.rpm again, this
time for --target=i586 to avoid any i686 issues.
It gets going fine but then craps out with:
...
checking if nsplugins should be compiled... yes
checking if pics should be compiled... yes
updating cache ./config.cache
creating ./config.status
Uhh. Malformed pattern in conftest.subs (s%@prefix@%\%{prefix}%g) at
admin/config.pl line 74.
creating config.h
+ '[' -z '' ']'
++ egrep -c '^cpu[0-9]+' /proc/stat
++ :
+ NPROCS=0
+ '[' -z 0 -o 0 -le 0 ']'
+ NPROCS=1
+ make -j1
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.67481 (%build)
If I look at config.log, NO mention of this problem is there. It just
comes to an end
with no errors. The only error I see is during the rpm --rebuild stage
just prior
to building makefiles.
