Hi list,

Say, I'm setting up some additional rules in my Procmailrc filters and
there are some items I wish to specify on the "kill" list. Now the reason
for this "kill" list is so that the incoming message won't even be stored
as soon as the parameters for this rule are satisfied. I want to delete
the message outright. I don't want to store it in another folder such as
is being done now. When I told it to "delete" it simply created a folder
named "delete" in Pine's mail dir. Kind-a cute, but not the desire effect.

I was very particular in the items I have this "kill" filter looking for
cause I didn't want to catch any wanted mail by accident and so far it's
working great. IT's just placing the messages in a folder instead of
deleting them. So, what's the delete command to set in the .procmailrc
file?

By the way. Setting up these filters was the best thing I've done as far
as mail filtering cause Procmail, along with Pine are so much more
effective and reliable than Netscape Messenger. Just thought I'd add that
bit.
