You should be able to start a rescue disk (or put the cd in and get through
the installer enough to get to stage 2) and get a prompt. From there,
insmod reiserfs and you should be able to mount it somewhere and chroot to
fix your system.
To keep from having to do this next time, remember to do
'mkinitrd --with=reiserfs /boot/initrd-2.2.x-whatever.img 2.2.x-whatever'
and put it in the lilo. Also, whenever you install a new kernel,
do --install (or -i), not --upgrade (or -U), then you can make sure your OLD
kernel is still in the lilo setup in case anything goes wrong.
