Is the ISA scsi card itself recognized???
9 out of 10 times the generic scsi cards that come with the scanner are not
very good (and that is an understatement)

I hope you can help me to get my scanner working.
I have a Black widow 9636PRO with their generic SCSI ISA
card.
I have tried getting it working when using other
distributions - Suse 6.1, Red Hat 6.2 etc but to no effect.
Just as an aside, this install of Mandrake 7 from PC Plus
has been the easiest and trouble free installation I have
ever carried out.
