Regarding the hpt66 udma66 controller on the bp6 motherboard:
When I installed Mandrake 7.0 on my dual celeron 550 bp6, the installer
recognized the hpt66 controller. Since I did not have any drives
attached to the controller, nothing was installed. Next week I have a
new 20GB deskstar arriving to connect to the hpt66 and I will pass on
the results here on this list. So, stayed tuned.
