I really don't want to argue but -
1.
Look at Mandrake's website and go to the menue item 'Register'.
There you have the pics of the current versions. There is a
Macmillan Mandrake 7.0 DeLuxe AND there is the Mandrake 7.0
PowerPack.
2.
Also on the website is a complete listing of the PowerPacks
contents. Have another look at that and then compare it to your
Macmillan box.
3.
Next on the website look at the resellers worldwide listing for
the Mandrake distribution. There are some US stores on it. It
never says "US version of..." or "Macmillan...". It's only
talking of Mandrake distributions.
4.
Here in Frankfurt, Germany we have a bookstore which supplies
all books concerning *nix and a lot of different distributions.
On the shelves you have the Macmillan DeLuxe for DM 189,00 (app.
90,00 USD) AND the Mandrake 7.0 PowerPack for DM 99,00 (app.
48.00 USD).
That should make a difference, not?
I don't know what Macmillan prints on their boxes. On the
original PowerPack I cannot find a label which says "European
version" or something similar.
