Well, not to turn this into a flamefest on your favorite
terminal or anything <G> but I like Konsole. It works for
me, and I *am* able to highlight and copy/paste from
Konsole to other X-apps. I just highlight, hit CTRL+C and
then switch to the other (already open) task and either hit
CTRL+V or use the "edit > paste" command. :-)
