Hi dear experts, I use for ppp setting the scripts taken from /usr/doc/ppp-2.7.3 (Mandrake-6.0) On my machine the pppd daemon writes its pid-file ( ppp0.pid in my case ) into directory /etc/ppp, where 'ppp-on' resides. I would expect it to write into /var/run, and so do the script 'ppp-off'. Probably something is wrong with my settings. How do I control the destination directory of pid-file? Thanks, Tima.
