Why it does it, is not yet known. It's possible that it's due to the rest of the config in use, but as that rule should only be handled at smtp time, there is no explanation for that behaviour yet. As you can imagine, a mailserver must work, so i published a version that does work without major inplications. As any exim admin should install the newest versions of exim anyway, >I< accepted the 0z44 situation for that one mailserver until it gets updated, just to be safe.
