Depends entirely. What does stalled mean? Is the message frozen? Every message has an Exim message-id, shown in the output from `exim -bp`. (I normally use `exim -bpru` to list the queue, to only seem remaining recipients and to not sort the output, just see everything fast). As long as you haven't chosen to disable the `message_logs` option, then `exim -Mvl the-message-id` will show you the logs for that message.
