I read in the manual that if I change retry rules, I may need to
delete hints database. I believe I do because:

while checking a list: $ not followed by letter, digit, or {
This stems from an error I made realier but I restarted exim and the
same error still appears for some of the mail in queue.
Is the hints database /var/spool/exim/db/retry ?
If it matters, I use FreeBSD 6.3-RELEASE-p1. Thanks!
