Yes it is. Right there at the very top of the documentation for the redirect router: "The incoming address can be redirected in several different ways... It can be replaced by one or more new addresses which are themselves routed independently." http://www.exim.org/exim-html-current/doc/html/spec_html/ch22.html That tells you all you need to know. If you'd ever used alias files before, you'd know about this behaviour. As also noted, you could have tested it yourself.
