A few years ago I had a similar issue. The problem turned out to be some mailgate extension to a PIX firewall. The software was buggy and caused the sending server to not see the final 250 OK and thus kept sending the message over and over. It may be worth to check and see what firewall equipment is in the picture here. thanks, M -- Michael F.
