Our client is adding a Sr. Business Systems Analyst with a strong
background in SAP (specifically FICO, MM, Customer Service, and Plant
Maintenance). This consultant will focus on - Asset Optimization. This
group focuses on asset management, monitoring and maintenance to ensure
profitable and optimal performance of facility. The Consultant will act as
the SAP Product Team liaison between Business and SAP Development Team
managing support and product increments. This consultant will spend their
time in 2 primary areas - support of existing ticket queue (Fresh Service
tickets) roughly 35%; working with product development and enhancements
65%. This consultant will work hand in hand with our current Consultant.



This consultant will need to have a deep understanding of SAP in the
technical module areas listed and be able to guide business owners and
technical engineer discussions. There will be no config or technical work
executed by this consultant - that will be done by the Technical SAP and
Engineering teams. Work is 'in flight' and this person is needed asap. This
is an Agile environment primarily. However, one of the support team runs
Kanban. Ideally this consultant is comfortable or knowledgeable in both
methodologies. This is a SR level experience role.

*JOB DUTIES - Required:*


• Collaborate with Product Owners and other Product members and Engineering
Teams on bigger projects / Strategic initiatives and ensure correct
prioritization of the most valuable features and support requests.
• Work with users and key stakeholders to define business requirements and
convert those requirements into User Stories and story artifacts like
functional specs, workflows, wireframes, mapping documents, and related
methods as needed
• Document User Stories and Acceptance Criteria for feature sets, as well
as future roadmap items
• Independently conduct and drive business requirements & solution design
related discussions and workshops
• Collaborate with technical teams to provide input on technical solutions
and support end to end solution delivery
• Help create & execute test scripts to support change request and defect
verification including user acceptance testing support
• Build upon, and maintain the product documentation repository of features
and functionality for new and existing product features.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for regular production support
activities including issue analysis, documentation & prioritization, defect
management and testing.
• Perform initial analysis on Support break-fix tickets and triaging these
items to SAP Support team
• Build effective relationships within a matrixed organization with other
IT teams, finance and supply chain contacts and users within Business Units
to support change requests and testing
• Build actionable insights and metrics for support items by using data
visualization tools & data discovery and analysis platforms

*JOB DUTIES - Not Required but nice to have:*


• Create training documentation for new system enhancements and conduct
user training sessions/demos to support knowledge transfer and user
adoption of system updates
• Creating mapping documents for interfaces.
• Understand and solve interfacing needs between the ERP and supporting
systems.

*Desired Qualifications:*


• 8+ years of IT experience performing SAP Business Analysis
• 3+ years of IT experience working in an Agile environment.
• Working knowledge of application and ERP concepts in the SAP functional
areas like Material Management, FICO, Customer Service, Plant Maintenance,
and Sales & Distribution.
