*Position: ETL Developer (Talend)*

*Location: Remote*

*Duration: Longterm*

*VISA: No Constraints*



*Description:*



   - Creates, debugs, and maintains complex ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)
   pipelines/processes, integrating multiple data sources (file-based, API,
   Database, etc.), and loading into multiple target databases, using Talend
   (Talend is a MUST)
   - Experience building file-sourced ETL feeds on Talend Open Data Studio.
   - Experience developing ETL between the following formats: CSV, XML,
   JSON, Database.
   - Significant understanding of REST/SOAP API, XML, XSD, XSLT, WSDL, and
   WSDL versioning best practices
   - Analyzes and rebuilds legacy Oracle Data Integrator ETL Packages in
   Talend.
   - Analyzes and migrates legacy Oracle databases and schemas to Maria DB,
   and helps maintain the new MariaDB database clusters going forward
   - Creates, debugs, and maintains shell, Perl, and Python scripts/modules
   that carry out various automation tasks, including file
   parsing/manipulation/transformation and database operations (insert, query,
   update, and delete).
   - Analyzes and migrates legacy crontab/shell/Perl script-based solutions
   to either Talend ETL pipelines or standalone Java applications
   - Analyzes and migrates/rebuilds business intelligence/analytics
   dashboards/reports from the legacy platform (Oracle Analytics/OBIEE) to the
   new solutions (e.g., Power BI, Business Objects, Tableau, Qlik).
   - Integrates existing and new applications/platforms with Dynatrace
   monitoring platform and creates custom dashboards for the development team
   and other stakeholders.



*Education:* Bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information
Systems, or closely related field of study.
