Besides providing platform expertise, we offer economies of scale and ease of management by creating management & SDLC tools, APIs and other services for easy deployment of critical applications. A lot of our work involves enhancing the vendor offering, filling gaps and influencing the future roadmap of the product with the vendor. We are looking for an Office 365 SharePoint migration engineer to design and implement company's Office 365 migration efforts using best practices. The role would also entail working with clients to onboard them to the Office 365 platform as well as working with third party vendors and internal groups (LDAP Engineering, Desktop Engineering , Azure and Office 365 engineering and more) to deliver a strategic migration solution. Job demands development and integration of custom tools and therefore candidate must be hands on with development targeting cloud. The candidate will also be working on integration of several Office 365 services - Yammer, SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, Planner, Microsoft Information protection (MIP). *Responsibilities* • Serve as an Office 365 SharePoint migration engineer to create an infrastructure for Office 365 migration effort. • Troubleshoot Office 365 SharePoint related migration issues and arrive at a problem resolution. • Escalate and work with Microsoft SMC or Premier support team as necessary. • Participate in office 365 migration strategy discussions. • Document system configurations, standards and operational procedures. • Create and implement custom tools as required for migration. • Analyze and implement any eComm (electronic communication) archival requirement for the services that are being migrated over • Work across different internal groups, vendors, clients, security & engineering groups and many technologies. • Analyze migration tools, processes and make recommendations for improvement. *Required skills* • Solid understanding of Office 365 Products and Services (SharePoint/ Unified Groups). • Office 365 SharePoint sites Migration experience. • Excellent knowledge of Office 365 authentication and authorization. • Must have hands on experience with C#/Asp.net development and PowerShell scripting. • Demonstratable experience with Microsoft Graph API and other Office 365 SDK's. • Ability to track and resolve issues with minimal supervision. • Ability to develop applications and tools to support Office 365 migrations. • Experience with versioning systems such as Git. • Experience with Agile delivery methodology. • Troubleshooting Experience on-prem/online, networking (wireshark,etc), Microsoft Information protection(MIP). *Desired Skills* • Experience with SQL programming. • Understanding of other services in Office365 products such as Unified Groups/Teams/PowerApps/PowerAutomate. • Office 365 migration tools (Sharegate/Quest/mover.io/etc).
