Role: *Solutions Architect* Type: *W2 only* Location: *Remote is an option (Preference is candidate in Boston) – Must work EST hours* Duration: *12 + Months* Timing: *Immediate Opening* *Job Title: * Solutions Architect *Required Skills:* - Minimum of five years of experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines, including technical or infrastructure architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or cloud development - Experience in designing and applying Enterprise Integration patterns (event/message, request/response, batch) including implementing middleware technologies. - Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics. *Project Goals: * - Goal is to leverage out of the box SaaS tools - Need to be able to look at alternatives beyond costs of licensing - How hard/expensive is it to maintain the talent pool, network administration, dbas, etc. - Not looking for point to point integration--enterprise integration, multiple systems integrating, from a central location, some service bus *Job Details:* • This role is solutions architect for the integration workstream - Modern integration for front-office - Messaging/events-based middleware - APIs, microservices that allow the homegrown tools to interact and talk to each other - High visibility, critical to their success - Enterprise integration patterns; will have integrate enterprise service bus, MuleSoft (looking at that as a potential option as opposed to building off of open-sourced tools like they currently have) • Come up with designs, work with development team to implement *Key Knowledge, Skills and Abilities* *Years of Experience* *Minimum/Required Qualifications* Minimum of five years of experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines, including technical or infrastructure architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or cloud development Experience in designing and applying Enterprise Integration patterns (event/message, request/response, batch) including implementing middleware technologies.
