*Job Title: Packaging EngineerLocation: Oklahoma City, OKDuration: Long Term Contract* *Job Description:* 1. Inspecting LRUs as they pass though Collins's shipping and receiving for damage. 2. Taking photographs and documenting any non-conforming surface damage. 3. Measuring any discovered surface damage or non-conformances. 4. Assessment of suspect non-conformances with engineering support. 5. Creating a data base file system of all dame noted and aggregating by LRU Part Number. 6. Work with Service Engineering and Program management to determine thresholds for recommended packaging needs, based on cost, frequency of damage and scarcity of LRUs. Aggregating data and providing a final report on findings and recommendations.
