*Job Title: Solution Architect IV*

*Location: Sun Prairie, WI.*

*Duration: 6 months+ contract (Possible extension)*

·         *Role is remote but manager would like candidates that are local
to Sun Prairie*


*Primary Responsibilities*

·         Contribute to the development and maintenance of the IT
infrastructure roadmap by performing security assessments and producing and
evaluating solution designs for internal projects.

·         Drive conceptual design strategies by reviewing architecture work
products to ensure quality, traceability, effectiveness and timeliness of
the solution design process.

·         Partner with business stakeholders and project teams to translate
business and technical requirements into detailed infrastructure designs
which incorporate people, process and technology aspects.

·         Liaise among third-party solution developers and internal key
stakeholders by reviewing and providing input on third-party developed
infrastructure designs and security assessments.

·         Support the impact analysis of infrastructure designs for
changing business requirements.

·         Support information security principles by designing secure
solutions and adhering to security standards and guidelines.

·         Generate and/or update DR action plans to meet business recovery
objectives as defined by the business continuity process.

·         Support the maintenance of business and application domain
architecture by collaborating with enterprise architecture subject matter
experts and third-party application architects.

·         Serve as a functional and technical expert for an application, a
defined set of applications or a portfolio of related applications.

·         Manage budgeted resources by anticipating expenditures,
accurately forecasting resource needs/costs and properly accounting for
expenses to meet requirements and achieve fiscal responsibility.

*Preferred Competencies/Skills*

·         Developed capacities used to design, set-up, operate and correct
malfunctions involving application of machines or technological systems.

·         Demonstrated practice of keeping current with new and emerging
tools and technologies relevant to solution design.

·         Effectively present information to influence organizational
leaders and key stakeholders.

·         Quickly understand, orient to, and learn new assignments.

·         Critically review, analyze, synthesize, compare and interpret
information.

·         Conduct gap analysis of current state and desired future state;
identify impact of a given decision.

·         Determine how a system should work and how changes in conditions,
operations and the environment will affect outcomes.

·         Use logic and reason to identify the strengths and weaknesses of
alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

·         Collaborate with people at different levels within the

·         Advanced working knowledge of technology to control and safeguard
the collection, organization, structure, processing and delivery of data.

·         Advanced understanding of common software architectures,
including layered and distributed architecture models.

·         Working knowledge of configuration and adaptation, deployment,
design patterns, risk management and scalability.

·         Ability to lead peers and influence strategies from
conceptualization through multi-year deployments.

·         Experienced in technology lifecycle management.

·         Previous experience working for an IT service provider.

·         Knowledge of all components of enterprise architecture.

·         Advanced degree in technical or business discipline.

·         Experience leading Centers of Excellence.

·         Experience in multiple EA/APM tools.

·         Industry certifications; ITIL, TOGAF, APICS, Six Sigma, etc.

·         Experienced in technology lifecycle management.

·         Previous experience working for an IT service provider.

·         Knowledge of all components of enterprise architecture.

·         Advanced degree in technical or business discipline.

·         Experience leading Centers of Excellence.

·         Experience in multiple EA/APM tools.

·         Industry certifications; ITIL, TOGAF, APICS, Six Sigma, etc.

·         Broad knowledge of IT service provider and solution marketplace.

·         Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

·         Experienced in multiple project management methodologies.

·         Complex, global IT environments.

·         Merger and acquisition solution integrations.
