*Job Title: Dev Tools & CAD Libraries Location: San Jose, CA Duration: Long
Term Contract*



*The below skills are mandatory for CAD engineer:*

•                     CAD Libraries: Work closely with all disciplines of
the hardware design arena to implement requirements from the SaO ECAD
Library Development team, HW engineering, power, mechanical, and
manufacturing to ensure that both the design requirements and Cisco
producibility standards for PCB fabrication, assembly and test are met.
Responsible for mining datasheets within Cisco and externally to be used
for all symbol creation and data mining for other design tools to leverage.
Create logic symbols used for schematic capture which adhere to Cisco
design standards and test them through PCB for verification purposes. Must
also be able to build and design physical footprints to industry and Cisco
standards for all technologies. This effort will require the closest
scrutiny and has zero room for error. Provide the library team with options
when design requirements create design and manufacturing conflict and
compromise is necessary. Work with geographically dispersed design teams



*The below skills are mandatory for Tools development (Test Automation):*

·         Dev Tools: work with several teams to develop an automated system
to check various printed circuit board (PCB) design requirements.

·         Writing Perl/Python scripts to categorize and check components on
a PCB design, depending on the requirements given.

·         Debugging perl/python code - Mandatory

·         Debugging web output – Mandatory

·         Web design HTML/CSS - Mandatory
