*Accounting Assistant – Part time* *Location*: Portland, OR or Dallas, TX (local only) *Duration*: 6+ months prior to potential FTE W2 conversion *Hours*: 5 hrs per day / 25 hrs week *Requirements:* Ø Recent college graduate with a 1-2 year work experience – high energy level candidate preferred. Ø *Strong excel skills, this is not negotiable – Experience with Pivots, Vlookups, Charts, Formulas, Power Query and willingness to learn working with an ERP system is critical.* Ø Candidate will play an active role in supporting and fielding employee and vendor queries and hence a *service oriented approach* is needed. Ø Ability to maintain confidentiality in its highest regard. Ø Openness to being flexible and perform in a fast paced and high growth environment. Ø Strong communication skills. Ø Spanish skills a plus. *Job Description:* Ø Ability to field vendor and employee inquiries for payments, reimbursements, benefits etc. Ø Liaison with the Office Operations team for daily administrative tasks. Ø Ability to help with accounting reconciliations and identifying discrepancies and preparing adhoc financial reports. Ø Help with record keeping and mail sorting. Ø Working with internal auditors for quarterly audits. Ø Adhoc projects as assigned.
