Scope:
The Service Request application supports internal and external asset
transfer movement transactions for the front office. The application is
broadly
divided between Retail and IRA accounts, with the Asset Movement requests
supporting retail transactions and the IRA requests supporting the IRA
transactions. The application is workflow enabled to provide submission,
approval and posting to the mainframe system of record (BETA).
Branch users enter requests which are routed for approvals by the workflow
engine based upon transaction value, account characteristics and business
policy. The request may routes to the various back office departments for
additional controls and / or exception processing. Industry and Firm
regulatory
requirements are implemented and maintained within the application. Channel
and sub firm specific business rules are encompassed in the user
interface.
Service Request is an application suite which deals with handling the
requests made on a brokerage account with Wachovia Securities. Service
Request
is accessed using the BPI Wisdom / Smart Station platform
Contribution:
 Written Stored Procedures and Functions for the application/module using
Oracle.
 Developed web services at middle layer and consuming web services from
presentation layer
