If not available to take up this position, I will be grateful if you could forward this email to your friends who may be interested. *Job Title: Salesforce Architect* *Location: Hartford, CT* *Duration: 6 months+ contract * *Visa: ALL (NO OPT, CPT & Transfers)* *Must Have Skills* 1.Architecturaltechnical experience with Salesforce Service Cloud platform. 2.HealthcareProvider experience preferred. 3.Experience designing REST APIs that facilitate a strong developer experience or simplify systems integration. *Responsibilities* - Architectural/technical experience with Salesforce Service Cloud platform. - Provides program and project level architectures for systems, applications, integrations and technology. - Manages and interprets program and project requirements into specific system, application and integration designs. - Identifies and solves complex design problems. - Designs and modifies components of new and existing IT systems and vendor offerings. - Designs complicated integrations with a focus on performance engineering and loose coupling utilizing APIs and Services. - Creates work product deliverables in accordance with Office of the CTO products and services. - Manages the architecture governance activities associated with ensuring solution compliance with standards and best-practices. - Identifies risks and proactively works to remediate technical debt. - Validates conceptual architectures. - Devises strategies to integrate with other CVS Health enterprise systems and realize the benefits of an API and service architecture. - Ensures proposals, projects and solutions are well-formed and aligned with corporate and Office of the CTO strategies. - Contributes to and maintains a curated representation of CVS Health’s software architecture. - Contributes to, and occasionally leads, the development of architectural frameworks, standards and reference material. - Informs enterprise decisions, roadmaps and investment planning for improved or new capabilities, helping determine what capabilities the enterprise must develop to satisfy its customers, compete in a market, manage its vendors, and improve operations. - Participates in current IT environment health analysis identifying risks to critical capabilities and recommending solutions. - Participates in opportunity and product positioning assessments. *Professional Skills & Knowledge* - Demonstrates master of design or software engineering at the system level. - Recognized as a subject matter expert and leader throughout the business and IT communities. - Demonstrated understanding of industry and technology trends. - Anticipates and proactively responds to future customer, industry and information technology needs. - Demonstrates master knowledge and confidence in both business & technical discussions. - Ability to multi-task and rapidly switch context between architecture initiatives. - Ability to act as an unbiased, objective, and respected liaison conveying business information needs and opportunities to IT and technology constraints to the business. - Effectively communicates the architecture to all levels of the organization. -Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to communicate and influence appropriately at all levels of the organization including written, verbal and visual presentations. - Effective collaborator and consensus-builder, who can apply outcome-based leadership across teams and organizations. - Flexible and creative with the ability to propose innovative ideas and collaborate with diverse teams to achieve positive outcomes. - Master-level situational analysis and decision-making abilities. - Ability to think creatively and drive innovation. - High EQ with excellent listening, fast learning, writing, documentation and problem-solving skills a must. - Experience with any of the following approaches: Agile/Scrum Development & Management, Scaled Agile Framework, Iterative & Incremental Development, Continuous Integration and Delivery. - Advanced-level knowledge of technologies such as: mobile/web frameworks, omni- channel experience design, hybrid cloud, security & privacy, action arbitration, IOT, event streaming, AI/machine learning, consents, preferences, microservices, containerization, APIs, SOA, messaging, etc. - 8+ years recent and related experience in information systems architecture methodologies, architectural abstractions and design patterns. - Experience with object-oriented modeling principles (inheritance, polymorphism) and methods (use cases, sequence diagrams, etc.). - 4-6 years enterprise architecture - 1-3 years executive-level presentations - Mastery of design considerations for high volume transaction systems - Healthcare experience a significant plus *Required Skills:* 1. Architectural/technical experience with Salesforce Service Cloud platform. 2. Healthcare/Provider experience preferred. 3. Experience with distributed computing architectures, including race conditions, parallelism, and concurrency control *Desired Skills:* 1. A proven track record working as part of a team on large architectural projects 2. Experience with SAFe Software Development Principles 3. Experience with distributed caching solutions; understands the factors that enable effective caching 4. Meeting facilitation 5. Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps 6. Experience with RDBMS and/or NoSQL databases. Understands the benefits and trade-offs of both.
