Closes to submissions Friday October 16* *Job Description * *Kronos Run Position Description* *Background * The DAS Office of Information Technology (OIT) delivers statewide information technology and telecommunication services to state government agencies, boards and commissions, as well as policy and standards development, lifecycle investment planning and privacy and security management. The State has a variety of initiatives and enterprise-level projects that collectively are designed to extend enterprise application assets such as the Ohio Administrative Knowledge System (OAKS). OAKS began supporting the Kronos Workforce Central Application on July 1, 2016. The system is currently hosted in the Kronos Cloud and is used by approximately 27,000 State of Ohio employees at 27 agencies. This is a critical enterprise application that allows the State to meet both Federal and State timekeeping requirements. The long-term plan is to deploy Kronos to all State employees at agencies, boards and commissions. This will result in the creation of a standard statewide timekeeping system that will replace numerous in-house custom timekeeping systems and users of older instances of Kronos systems. *Business Needs/Objectives* OAKS is seeking an additional full-time contractor to support our critical Kronos Workforce Central 8.1.6 application. The contractor will work as part of an existing small team of Kronos support personnel that provide Kronos Cloud oversight, application configuration, agency rollout assistance, functional/technical issue resolution, and strategic guidance. This additional team member is expected to provide enhanced skills in specific Kronos modules including *Activities* and *Advanced Scheduler*. *Perio**d of Performance* The State is looking to begin work as soon as possible. The initial term will expire at the end of the State’s fiscal year on June 30, 2021. The State anticipates extending the initial term based on its discretion, and contingent on the discretionary decision of the Ohio General Assembly to appropriate funds for subsequent state fiscal years. Any such extension is subject to the satisfactory performance of the contractor and the needs of the State. *Arrangements* The contract will be awarded on a time & materials basis.
