With his / her deep understanding of Addressable TV advertising technologies and related systems, techniques and features, he / she shall be able to help deliver great quality products and services to our customers. Must have great experience on different types of testing and should be able to involve efficiently in every phase of testing cycle. Should know what he/she is testing and why, and in addition to testing he/she shall analyze why something doesn’t work. Specific tasks of this role include: - Understanding the implemented advertising solution in the client environment - Smoke testing of weekly releases and new advertising components - Designing functional test case for the new features of advertising components - Regression and Integration testing for all features - Test Automation - Development & execution of Test Automation scripts - Reporting and Tracking bugs to closure *Minimum Requirements:* - 5+ years of experience in quality assurance of Addressable TV advertising centric applications. - Knowledge and experience on various advertising solutions such as provided by Invidi, SeaChange and Freewheel. - STB Domain Knowledge - Clear understanding of end to end solution - back office to headend to set top box. - Knowledge on data analysis and SQL. - Fair knowledge on various Audio & Video file formats, Encoding & Decoding, Encryption, Multiplexing, Digital transmission, Multicast & Unicast. - Well versed with Testing Techniques and methodologies. - Should have knowledge of API testing tools such as SoapUI, Postman. - Should have experience in writing automated scripts using Python. - Effective oral and written communication skills. - Shall be knowledgeable in using Linux and Shell Scripting - Good analytical skills. *Preferred skills (Good to have):* - Expertise in testing tools like Appium, Selenium - Experience with automation framework design and development - Prior experience in writing automated tests using Javascript, Ruby or any other equivalent. - Knowledge of using GIT and Jenkins.
