Role: .net Application Developer / Application Development Analyst II Location: Memphis, TN
Duration: 18 to 24 month Onsite position *Skills must Need:* - .Net developer with Oracle, (not just SQL Server) *Job Description:* - This system is being modernized to a web based architecture using Microsoft .NET over a multi-year period. - This position offers significant opportunities to build relationships with both technical and business personnel while demonstrating leadership in the custom development areas. - This position is responsible for providing design, build, architecture, support, and/or configuring services specifically for the Omega system for the initial build as well as sustaining it afterwards. - A successful Application Developer has a results oriented mentality, delivers quality and timely solutions, and enjoys working in a pseudo-agile, team-oriented fast paced development environment. - .NET Developer using .NET 4.6, Angular Material JS, VSTS/Scrum ALM experience. EF7 w/Oracle - DDD and SOLID a plus. SignalR a plus. As a part of the team, the applications developer is expected to: 1. Be self-directed and provide technical leadership for the team 2. Provide leadership and mentoring to other team members, which includes collaboration on technical issues and application design 3. Be a positive role model and champion of IT and corporate processes, services, and initiatives 4. Build key relationships and contribute to a positive work environment through collaboration with teammates and other stakeholders 5. Take ownership in their working environment and constantly strive to make their environment more efficient 6. Create an environment that challenges others to perform at a higher level 7. Invite input from others and influences others on new ideas and processes 8. Be willing to train other team members as needed 9. Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience >From a technical perspective, the application developer is a full stack developer, able to navigate a multi-tiered architecture, and is expected to: 1. Influence application and technical architecture directions, specifically in the area of Visual Studio (preferable VS 2015/2017) .NET design and development 2. Be highly skilled in the entire SDLC (technical analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation) 3. Be able to effectively handle ambiguity and is a positive role model for implementing change in the organization 4. Seek out or create and communicate best practices and processes (examples include architecture, development processes, re-use) 5. Be knowledgeable and demonstrate SOLID design principles in the light of unit tests and dependency injection. 6. At a minimum possess experience of: · 5+ years with .NET design and development using C# · 3+ years with WebApi 2 using C# · 3+ years with entity framework (EF6 onward) · 5+ years with Oracle PL/SQL and MSSQL · 3+ years JavaScript SPA (Knockout, Angular) experience 7. Preferably possess experience of: · 5+ years with VSTS & Git Source Control · 2+ years unit testing with one or more frameworks xUnit, NUnit, MSTest · 2+ years with Typescript 8. Optional possess experience with: · SignalR · AutoFac · OData 9.
