*Duration : 12 + Months* *Job Description* Resource will be responsible for application database administrator for professional services engagements. The position will require experience in requirements gathering, scope definition and developing/delivering cloud migration strategies/solutions. You will be expected to have a strong understanding of No SQL database technologies/AWS databases, JDBC database connectivity/topology, PL/SQL development and SQL scripting. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years’ experience in database administration and SQL tuning and database optimization. Use of industry tools like OEM, Toad, SQL Developer and UNIX scripting will be required. Exposure in AWS and experience in MongoDB, Cassandra and AWS RDS/NoSQL. We’re looking for someone with exposure to large application database admin support and partitioning large tables and purging data. This will be a challenging position with lots of opportunity to work on the AWS/Google cloud technologies like Mongo database multi node replication installations and PostgreSQL/Cassandra/CouchDB. You will be afforded the opportunity to design, develop and implement best schema models. *Responsibilities:* • Design highly scalable high available NoSQL/Mongo/Cassandra databases • Developing scripts to automate MongoDB/Cassandra cluster/replication/partition/active/active installations. • Developing and deploying monitoring scripts and sending notifications to respective stake holders in case of database down/performance issues. AppDynamics is plus • Develop/deploy/optimize backup restore scripts for NoSQL/RDS databases • Implementing Redact/transparent data encryption and moving data to secured tablespaces/data files. • Working closely with development team in developing data extract procedures/functions and complex SQL queries for report generation. • Support configuration management team for product upgrades and application deployments/ batch job configuration and automation. • Troubleshooting database performance issues and optimizing database parameters to support the product and enterprise database admin teams. • Understanding Golden gate replication setup and support the active/active golden gate and data guard implementations. *Qualifications* • 5-10 years of experience developing UNIX shell scripts and install/implement on production environments. • 5+ years of experience in MongoDB/Cassandra/Aurora MySQL. • 5+ years of experience in database parameter tuning, data guard and golden gate. • Knowledge of J2EE/Web/Application server and troubleshooting application/server logs. • Experience in automating manual processes using a scripting language such as Unix Shells python etc. • Experience in JSON/BSON scripting. • Exposure to Jira/SVN/Git source code/JDBC *Knowledge is a plus:* UNIX (AIX, Linux)/AWS Administration Please email us your resumes to recrui...@nityainc.com/nitya.recru...@gmail.com Thanks & Regards Mounika recrui...@nityainc.com -- Are you =EXP(E:RT) or =NOT(EXP(E:RT)) in Excel?
