Work will be focused on core development as requirements and testing will be executed by other teams. *Role/Responsibilities:* Perform technical code development in Hadoop, Hive, Python, Spark and Teradata, Unit testing would also be expected. Strong knowledge of big data ecosystems and technologies. *Role:* Hadoop Developer *Desired Hadoop experience:* 3+ Years *Primary / Must have 2-3 years of experience with all of the following skills:* •Strong development experience in Hive •Working experience with Spark SQL •Deep SQL knowledge •Strong coding experience in Unix Shell Scripting •Strong knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem components *Required hands on coding experience:* •Hive: 3+ Years •Spark SQL: 1.5+ Years •SQL: 6+ Years •Unix Shell Scripting: 2+ Years *Preferred Skills:* •Teradata •Python •Ability to pick up new languages and technical skills on-the-job *Interpersonal Attributes:* •Good written and verbal communication •Ability to work as part of a team •Flexibility required.
