Work collaboratively with client middle office organization to create data
solutions using cutting edge technology to solve business problems.



*Detailed Job Description:*

Work as part of a team as an experienced developer, using Agile approach,
to quickly move from idea to implementation and then to continue iterating.
Work will be focused on core development as requirements and testing will
be executed by other teams.



*Role/Responsibilities:*

Perform technical code development in Hadoop, Hive, Python, Spark and
Teradata, Unit testing would also be expected. Strong knowledge of big data
ecosystems and technologies.



*Role:* Hadoop Developer

*Desired Hadoop experience:* 3+ Years



*Primary / Must have 2-3 years of experience with all of the following
skills:*

•Strong development experience in Hive

•Working experience with Spark SQL

•Deep SQL knowledge

•Strong coding experience in Unix Shell Scripting

•Strong knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem components



*Required hands on coding experience:*

•Hive: 3+ Years

•Spark SQL: 1.5+ Years

•SQL: 6+ Years

•Unix Shell Scripting: 2+ Years



*Preferred Skills:*

•Teradata

•Python

•Ability to pick up new languages and technical skills on-the-job



*Interpersonal Attributes:*

•Good written and verbal communication

•Ability to work as part of a team

•Flexibility required. If client would like to modify a design/approach,
need to be able to support it as opposed to only wanted to implement design
that you personally feel is optimal
