*Urgent Need of Devops Engineer* *Location: Alpharetta, GA*
*12+ Months* *Job Synopsis: DevOps Engineer* Resource will be responsible for automating delivery related to software testing and release for professional services engagements into hosted environments. The position will require experience in requirements gathering, scope definition and environment provisioning in a fast paced, evolving environment. You will be expected to have a strong understanding of J2EE runtime, web services, network connectivity/topology, middleware and automated script deployment tooling. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years’ experience in this space with an affinity towards continuous integrations and automation tooling, evolving into a DevOps CI/CD model. Use of industry tools like Subversion, Maven, Jenkins and Hudson will be required. Exposure and experience in the virtualization space, utilizing Chef Process framework is a huge plus. We’re looking for someone with expertise in devops and continuous integration environment construction, maintenance and support. This will be a challenging position with lots of opportunity to work on the cutting edge with investment in new technology, process and tooling to support the evolving space in solution delivery. You will be afforded the opportunity to design and implement CM/RM best-practices. *Responsibilities:* · Build/deployment automation and software Configuration/Release Management. · Installing, Configuring and Tuning of J2EE Application Servers. · Installing/maintaining software on UNIX, Linux servers for purposes of supporting software build and deployment. · Working closely with Development, QA, Product Management, and external IT teams to make sure the build/packages delivered on-time and with high quality through SDLC lifecycle · Configure and administer Software Configuration Management tools. · Responsible for CI environments (Jenkins, Nexus, SVN) *Qualifications* · 4-6 years of experience with various middleware applications(WebSphere, Weblogic, JBoss, Tomcat, etc) · 4-6 years of experience as SCM/release engineer, or in a position with demonstrated similar skill sets and responsibilities.
