*Principal Duties & Responsibilities*

o             Experienced Splunk Monitoring Analyst to perform monitoring,
research, assessment and analysis on notable security events for PCI
compliance

o             Prior experience using the Splunk PCI application is required

o             Create and follow pre-defined procedures to investigate
security events

o             Work with necessary personnel to resolve and escalate
security events to closure

o             Participate in escalation to Security Operations Team

o             Participate and assist with implementing new monitoring
functionality

o             Maintain and report on KPIs

o             Provide weekly, monthly reporting metrics

o             Participate in development of process workflows and SLA
requirements



*Skills and Knowledge*

Prior experience as a Security Administrator, system administrator

Prior experience with security technologies (network solutions, firewalls,
routers, servers, workstations, databases, IDS/IPS, cloud solutions,
endpoint, and DLP)

Experience with performing root cause analysis and incident response

Background in PCI Compliance requirements, OWASP, and NIST

Must be able to assume ownership for event investigation, root cause
analysis and closure

Must be able to multitask and prioritize
