* Position: Senior DevOps with DataPower Experience *

*Location: O’Fallon, MO*

*Duration: 2 Months to start (Initial couple of weeks onsite followed by
remote)*

*Travel expenses paid by the client. *

*Must have 10 + years of experience. *



*Role:*

Senior DevOps and DataPower SME that can develop and deliver a CI/CD
pipeline for moving DataPower application objects through a set of
environments (i.e. Dev -> Test -> Prod), as well as handling rollbacks
if/when required.



*Skills*:

Establishing CI/CD pipelines

Build and deploy

Rollback of deploy

Developing automation scripts in a variety of popular DevOps scripting
languages

Developing/administering DataPower devices - required as background to
understand what the pipeline needs to do - very important for this customer.

Understand architecture of DataPower high-availability environment

Consulting role i.e. comfortable working with a customer to understand
their requirements (whiteboard solution with customer), constraints; come
up with a design; implement and test; rollout solution

Ability to explain and motivate design decisions using required tools

Understanding of how to test DataPower applications - experience enough to
suggest tools and approach

Experience of working in an agile team using sprints

Experience of packaging up automation as a container image (preferred, but
not essential)
