Hello experts,

I have been trying to explore sitecore cortex's capabilities and use cases
to make websites AI powered. I have gone through videos, intro articles on
sitecore cortex and some cool examples using external services like
Microsoft cognitive services, Google Vision API etc integrated in sitecore
application.

I have observed that, either the AI capabilities are built using the
service APIs offered by giant like Google, Microsoft IBM etc or I just got
theoretical articles talking about what sitecore cortex is capable of
doing. All is great so far, but It would be great if someone can throw some
light on below questions to get me started with Sitecore cortex.

1. what are the out of the box capabilities of sitecore cortex ( like Image
analysis, auto tagging, text and face detection from an image etc).?

2. Does it require developer to code the models using R and CNTK languages
( or any other language) as mentioned here
<https://www.valtech.com/insights/getting-ready-for-sitecore-cortex-a-sitecore-architects-intro-to-machine-learning-in-sitecore/>or

sitecore cortex provides out of the box models as part of their API
services?

3. Even if Sitecore Cortex provides out of the box features, does it
require developer to train the ML Models in house, or sitecore cortex
provide "Trained" models as part of its API service?

4. Is there any separate cost involved apart from license cost in using
sitecore cortex apis just like it comes with external services like Google
Vision, MS cognitive services, IBM Watson etc?

If some one can help answering above questions would be great!
