*Job description*



*The SA3 will work under the direction of Information Technology
Supervisors, Project Managers, and/or team lead Infrastructure
Specialists.  They will execute assignments and report status and issues as
appropriate. *



1.         Document current state of infrastructure assignments.

2.         Monitor project target dates and milestones to ensure work is on
schedule.  Take corrective actions if an assignment begins to slip its
schedule.

3.         Prepare status reports on a periodic basis for program team,
team leads, group leads, and program manager and appropriate stakeholders.

4.         Communicate and work with technical staff and others as
necessary.

5.         Analyze and distribute reports on program metrics associated
with work items related to improving processing performance measures.

6.         Perform knowledge transfer to DPS staff by documenting,
mentoring, and/or teaching a small class on a specific topic.



1.         Strong communication/ leadership skills.

2.         Strong influence, collaboration and negotiation experience.

3.         Ability to collaborate with supporting resources across business
and/or functional lines.

4.         Have excellent oral and written skills/possess strong meeting
and work session facilitation skills.

5.         Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team,
the ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines.

6.         Have strong understanding of prioritization stemming from the
elicitation of system and/or user requirements.

7.         Have excellent organizational skills, proven analytical,
planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills.

8.         Must be knowledgeable in the English language/speak clearly and
understandably use the English language.



*Mandatory Requirements/Time       *

*Required experience:*



*1.         5 years experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux in enterprise
environment *

*2.         3 years designing, building and maintaining scalable,
highly-available, secure, n-tier application infrastructure on Red Hat
Enterprise Linux*

*3.         5 years automation scripting (system build, administration,
desired state configuration, inventory and application deployment)*

*4.         5 years experience with load balancing, firewalls, security
practices, etc.*



*Preferred experience:*



*1.         Red Hat Certified System Administrator*

*2.         Red Hat Certified Architect*

*3.         Scripting languages (BASH, PowerShell, Python, Perl)*

*4.         Ansible/Red Hat Ansible Tower*

*5.         Redis*

*6.         Desired State Configuration*

*7.         VMware vSphere*
