 Job Description:

 The Senior UX/UI Designer works alongside designers, developers and
writers to create user interface

designs for Empowered’s SaaS platform. He/She also designs and maintains
materials for marketing,

communication, training and other projects, as needed.

 Primary responsibilities:

·  Collaborate with designers, developers, writers, business analysts and
project managers to ensure visual design supports desired user experience

·  Create compelling multi-platform, omni-channel UI for our various brands

·  Defend and champion effective, delightful design to our internal team
and clients

·  Prototype and iterate designs based on direction from business, research
and testing

·  Design branding, sales, marketing, recruiting, corporate communication
and training materials, as needed

·  Perform quality checks to maintain design integrity throughout
development

 Skills/Knowledge:

·  Expert understanding of user-centered design principles and UX best
practices

·  Portfolio showcasing experience designing digital products and/or
applications

·  Critical and creative thinking skills

·  Extreme attention to detail and consistency

·  Strong communication skills – verbal and written

·  Expert-level proficiency with a variety of tools, including Sketch,
Abstract, Adobe Creative Suite and InVision for design, wire-framing and
prototyping

·  Website design experience a plus

 Education/Experience:

·  Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field, or have equivalent work
experience

·  7+ years experience with user interface/experience design for software,
web/mobile applications, etc.

·  Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Lucidchart, Microsoft Office (or Mac
equivalent tools), Balsamiq, etc.

·  Agile development experience a plus
