Strong data processing, Hadoop, MapReduce skills, using python as scripting
language, and they should leverage pyspark for data processing.

Must have strong AWS s3, RDS and EMR skills.

Experience doing ETL

Snowflake

Moving data into one link solution.

Need 5 years of experience minimum.


*Data engineer will need to have python, ETL, MapReduce (Spark or Hadoop),
pyspark, AWS, SQL and NoSQL, and Database Design.


*SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: *• Experience in Python, ETL, MapReduce (spark or
Hadoop), pyspark, AWS, SQL and NoSQL, and database design.
• Strong experience using AWS and developing applications that run in the
cloud.
• Familiar with code complexity and efficient algorithm design.
• Ensures code is compliant and adheres to the company’s code quality
standards.
• Expert knowledge in object-oriented design.
• Experienced using TDD and is able to use unit tests and mocks to deliver
quality code.
• Very experienced using software development tools such as Git, Jira,
Jenkins.
• Able to work as part of an agile scrum team.
• Requires a bachelor's degree and may be expected to have an advanced
degree in area of specialty and 3-6 years of experience in the field or in
a related area.
• Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices,
and procedures.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
• May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the
top level contributor/specialist
