*Duration : **6 months* *Must be local… no sub vending. * *H1B Copy & Passport Number is Mandatory* Ø This nationwide industry leader has an immediate 6+ month contract opportunity (with strong chance for extension/conversion) in Clearwater, FL for a Scala Developer. Ø This position requires 5-15 years of development experience to be part of a development team that will be working on building a web-based solution to replace an existing client-server based application for a healthcare company that is expanding into connected healthcare devices and health informatics. Ø This new solution will include a process re-engineering of existing business processes and will be built on top of existing Oracle database that supports the client-server application. Ø The primary technologies that will be used in the new solution are Angular, Scala, Bootstrap, Node JS, .NET, JavaScript, JQuery, RDBMS such as Oracle and SQL Server, unstructured data in JSON format using NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB. Ø Key requirements are Scala, Angular, and Web Services API. Ø The candidate must be familiar with continuous integration (CI) processes, or willing to learn and work in this type of deployment and testing environment.
