*Job Description:*

Responsible for performing primary network system administration on network
hardware and software as needed. Including but not limited to Cisco Routers
& Switches, Infoblox DNS & DHCP Servers, Linux/Windows DNS BIND Servers,
Firewalls, DSLAMs, AFC Equipment, CMTSs (Cisco) and Cable Modems.

Configure and manage Infoblox network appliances running the Infoblox NIOS
operating system. Forward and reverse mapping zones, network and zone
creation, DNS Anycast, DHCP ranges, fixed addresses, Grid management,
system and protocol level monitoring, and system level management.

Management of DNS dynamic update authentication

Knowledge of DNS and IPAM including configuration utilizing Infoblox

Administer Infoblox DNS/DHCP/IPAM environment.

Hands on experience with IP subnetting, Telnet/SSH Clients, Raritan or
Terminal Server Remote Access, ServiceNow, COS, VoIP and MPLS technologies,
and Cisco network software (COS/IOS), inventory/maintenance tracking and
vendor support case handling; as well as with Cisco routers and
Catalyst/Nexus switches, F5 load balancers and Infoblox DHCP/DNS

Enforces security procedures, implements and coordinates network policies,
procedures and standards, serves as a liaison between build and run teams
and provides technical support.

Ensures all network systems meet or exceed the business and security
requirements.

Prepares technical documentation, to include standard operating procedures
and processes.

Install and configures computer networks such as local area networks
(LANs), wide area networks (WANs), the Internet, intranets, and other data
communications systems.

Maintains technical proficiency in new IT technologies; keeps abreast of
industry trends, and makes recommendations to improve or advance services
and system performance.

Communicates all computer network, system and service problems and outages
immediately to the Network and Server Operations Supervisor and/or EITO
Manager.

Assessing current network strengths and weaknesses and explaining options

Responds to critical after hours support issues.

Performs other duties as assigned.



*Position Requirements*

·         5+ Years of Network Support Experience

·         2+ years of experience with IOS/NX-OS, InfoBlox.

·         Advanced skills with Cisco (with some Juniper), ACI, CCNA
preferred

·         Cisco Routing/Switching experience

·         Network Security - Firewall Administration and Engineering

·         Possess advanced, subject matter expertise in IP-based network
and telecommunication system design, administration, and support,
preferably Cisco.

·         Problem Solving, LAN/WAN Knowledge, Proxy Servers, F5, SDN, ACI,
Network Design and Implementation, Network Troubleshooting, Network
Hardware Configuration, Network Performance Tuning,

·         Must be willing to work hours outside of a regular schedule.

·         Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearances.
