 aprilie 1918 s-a constituit la lasi Liga Poporului.
 Liderul sau era 'xandru Averescu  numit in 1930 maresal
 al Romaniei. Organul de presa era dreptarea . in 1920 a
 devenit primul partid care avea adepti la nivelul intregii i
 Guvernul Averescu  1920-1921  a adoptat o serie de
 masuri importante itru dezvoltarea Romaniei  si anume
 legile de reforma agrara  unificare netara

 desprinderea gruparii conduse de tavian Goga  ce a pus
 bazele Partidului National Agrar. Ziarul sau era tara astra
 . Afisand un program in general contradictoriu 
 formatiunea a promovat politica de centru-dreapta. in 1935 a
 fuzionat cu Liga Apararii Nationale estine  formand
 Partidul National Crestin.
