I am working on an order type form and have 4 different data validation
sets. I want to clear the contents of the dependent list when I select the
primary list.

example set. a18 is dependent on what is selected on a17, a20 is dependent
on what is selected on a19

i basically have 4 sets
primary secondary
a17 a18
a19 a20
a21 a22
a23 a24

what i want to do is have it so if I select a new item in the primary
(a17,a19,a21,a23) the secondary is cleared. each data set is a pair. is
there also a way to select a blank and clear both list boxes without
pressing delete.
I tried this code but it only worked for the one pair. I tried copying the
code and adding the other cells but that did not work.
If Intersect(Target, Range("A17")) Is Nothing Then Exit Sub
If Target.Count > 1 Then Exit Sub
Range("A18").ClearContents
