*Job Duties and Description:*



*Required Qualifications:*

   - Bachelor's Degree
   - 7+ years of experience with Mainframe programming with COBOL
   - 5+ years of experience with VSAM and JCL
   - 5+ years of experience with IBM Utilities
   - Oracle
   - Strong SQL skills
   - US Resident or Green Card holder

*Preferred Qualifications:*

   - Experience with MVS Operating system
   - Experience working in the medical Healthcare industry, particularly
   for large managed-care organizations like Health Care Company
   - Experience with SAS and/or Mercator and/or Data Stage
   - Experience with TWS/OPC

*Preferred Experiences:*

   - Healthcare experience and exposure to EDI and HIPAA transactions
   - Medicare or Medicaid experience
   - Knowledge of Trizetto Facets, or project experience supporting a
   medical claims system
   - Experience working on distributed platforms
   - Experience with high-volume database transactions
   - Experience with WTX or similar tool to process HIPAA transactions
   - Experience with Source Control systems (like SVN), Testing tools (like
   ALM)
   - Experience using database tools (like TOAD / AQT / Sybase SQL
   Advantage)
   - Positions in this function are predominantly involved in developing
   business solutions by creating new and modifying existing software
   applications.
   - Primary contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging,
   documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with
   established specifications and business requirements to deliver business
   value.
   - Reviews the work of others.
   - Excellent communication skills: Written, verbal, meeting guidance
   - Self-driven, able to manage own time according to a project plan
