My client has a job opportunity for *Automotive Vehicle Tester* for their corporate office in *Peachtree, GA* *Job Description:* *Role – Automotive Vehicle Tester* *Location* – *Peachtree, GA* *Client: ** Capgemini* *Skills Required :* • Working knowledge on OS, System Architecture, GPS and Multimedia domains. • Must have good understanding of testing approaches. • Experience in the Engineering and testing of automotive electronics required. • Experience with Electronics Design processes. • Experience in Software testing and validation methods. • Experience in AIAG Quality Systems related to product development. • Experience and knowledge to mentor and lead best practices globally. • Analytical capability to simplify large amounts of data to identify issues quickly and clearly. • Knowledge and experience in Automotive OEM customer Car Audio/Video test requirement *Responsibilities:* Ensures all Advanced Quality Engineering Test Standards are implemented and followed on all forward model designs. Designs and implements vehicle test validation methods and procedures before the products reach mass production to meet the customer expected quality level of products. Develops and keeps up to date advanced quality test requirement guidelines to ensure designs incorporate carryover proven design chunks including best practices, significant characteristics, and robust proven development verification and review. Identifies design change points to focus the validation and documentation of the development of new designs ensuring proven design margins and failure mechanisms. Monitor SW deliverable requirements respective to meeting Part Submission Warrant (PSW) commitments to the customer. Develops revised test plans based off of lessons learned – add corner testing (Development Verification and Testing, Product, Vehicle) as needed. Develops and maintains a software validation capability that continuously learns from each deployment. Interact with customer OEM factories to identify GAPS in vehicle level testing at Panasonic versus OEM’s. Document and develop an action plan, to close gaps at Manufacturing System Design (MSD) development for both PASA factories, arrival inspection Re-flashing/Final functional testing (Los Indio’s and others), and Engineering in a timely manner. Maintain historical lessons learned by establishing visibility into the quality dashboard (i.e. AGILE) from vehicle level testing, and collaborate with PASA new design teams. Reviews all designs related Advanced Quality (AQ process) related required test documentation in peer design reviews prior to DR0. Ensures the testability / self-diagnostics. Carryover Significant Characteristics and Critical Characteristics on proven designs / drawings. Links to Panasonic Design activities globally (Japan, Europe, etc.). Ensures best test practices are captured and new best practices are shared globally. Deploys the standard in the most cost efficient / effective manner. Ensures Vehicle Test Information Report are closed out and validated prior to Production Validation testing, internally and at customer pre-production build events.
