In the attached sample, which is only a snippet of a large worksheet, the goal is to have the player name with his total MLB stats for the season and the current team name. So in a nutshell, the first occurence of the player name is row i need, but I have to replace the string "TOT" with the team name in the last occurence of the player name. And delete all other rows with the matching player name
One problem that occurs in the data set is that two or more players may have the same name. So my thinking was Col B (Name) and Col C (Age) could be used as a reference. It's hard to verbalize this and I'm probably making it more complicated than it needs to be. Thanks in advance for any help offered -- Are you =EXP(E:RT) or =NOT(EXP(E:RT)) in Excel?
