I cannot think of any way for a macro to execute if someone enters the VBEditor.
As for comparing the macros themselves:You can export the macro modules from
the two different applications,then open both of the files in a text stream and
read them line-by-line and compare each line.
I've accomplished protection in the past using two methods:#1) In one
application, I read/write to a database. I use a table in the database to store
the most recent version.then, in one of the VBA modules, I include a version
number, which is compared to the version in the database.An error and exit
occurs when the versions do not match.#2) write a list of userid's to a binary
file. Then, the binary file is included with the application. If the macro
cannot open the binary file, or doesn't find the userid in the list, then the
macros don't run.
I'm not sure if either approach would work in your case.

Hello Evryone,
Question on VBA Macro xlsm code. If i try to crack a password of a vba macro,
will the author be notified over the internet. Can there be a code written
inside the orginial code to notify the author via email or IP address
mentioning someone trying to change the password or view the code. Assuming all
OS windows 7 or 10? Please do reply. I am trying to match two codes and find
out the difference.
