Hi,

FYI, I have an Excel spreadsheet that contains the linefeed (ALT-Enter)
character inside of a couple of cells. However, I wish to export this
character into a CSV or TAB-delimited file. Whenever I use the Excel SaveAs
command to export either format, the results "appear to be" hard return
(carriage return) instead of soft return (linefeed). Can anyone tell me
whether a VBA macro exists to override this issue?

Some background information...

I am performing a Data Merge using Adobe InDesign with a comma-delimited
(CSV) file. The problem I am having is with records that contain multiple
lines within the same field. After reviewing the completed merged InDesign
document, I noticed the results are inaccurate for the remainder of that
record. When it gets to the next record some fields are populated
incorrectly and what appear to be from the previous record.

Thanks in advance for your reply.
