Just to be sure, try changing to the  C:\users\[username]\Appdata  folder and
search for *.exd from there. I actual found two but they evidently have been
corrected.Since they're dated 3/24/2015 and 3/25/2015and are not causing a
problem. Paul-----------------------------------------

error

Hi Paul

I have read the solution you have provided but when I go to the
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Temp\Excel8.0 folder there is no file called
MSForms. exd. I tried searching my computer for *.exd files and there is none
present. I also tried to install one of the updates from Microsoft site but the
problem still persists. So now I'm don't know what is wrong.

Hi
I have been experiencing this error recently in Excel 2007. Whenever try to add
any ACTIVEX buttons to my worksheet I get an error "cannot insert object". The
screenshot is attached here. I have reinstalled office but the error is still
present. I also searched online but nothing seems to work. The Form buttons on
the other hand work perfectly fine. Please help me.
