I SUSPECT it's because you're essentially defining MyRange as ActiveSheet.Selection so trying to use ActiveSheet.MyRange expands to Activesheet.Activesheet.Selection which would be incorrect... but then again, I may be incorrect. I'd have to put a "watch" on MyRange and see if it changes when I switch to a different worksheet.
