*Position: Business Analyst*

*Location: Bensenville_IL*

*Contract Period: 3 Months *

Specific knowledge in billing & accounting is a plus. This is a project
dealing with Accounts Receivable & the billing process. Technical writing
requirement relates to translating business requirements into technical
writing. The current methodology used is Waterfall. This position requires
Telecom Billing & Data Experience. The candidate must have at the minimum 3
years of active/focused BA experience.

*Describe the role:*

This BA will be part of the IS team. We will participate in the business
requirement sessions to ask technical questions and work closely with the
architects, development and testing to be the liaison between IS and the
business. The BA will produce a requirements document for internal and
external technical teams.

Responsible for working with the business to analyze business requirements.
Provide functional expertise, high level business process re engineering,
technical overviews and insight where appropriate. Produce specifications
for any new / change to technology applications. Work with the development
team to ensure that they understand the business and functional
specifications. Work with training team to document system scenarios and
identify roles impacted and help develop a change management / training
plan. Actively participate in SQA preparation for and execution of user
acceptance testing (UAT).

The request has the same requirements as the previous Business Analysts
positions. This request is urgent as it was originally filled and now
requires candidates. Preferably with security (SOX, compliance) experience
as well as reporting

*Technical skills*

·         7+ years of related experience as Business Analyst
·         Should have 1-3 years of telecom experience BA 1-3 years – any is
helpful
·         Ability to understand technical topics, data flows, architectural
diagrams; translate business requirements into technical terms; present
technical questions in language business team members can understand
·         Billing experience It would be very helpful
·         Experience with tools like Word, excel, visio, requisite pro,
quality center
·         BA needs to be working on Application Development or SQA
experience with development, infrastructure and/or testing would be helpful
·         BA needs to understand the Change management procedures
